How can we help?

I seem to manage to break the permissions whenever I run update.php - (usually it fails to write the session files after upgrade). It would be great if the upgrade.php script could set the file/folder permissions shown in https://snipe-it.readme.io/docs/debugging-permissions

I'm not sure how I break it - I just login, cd into the directory, then run php upgrade.php

Are you running the upgrade as sudo?
