Yet another adaptation issue...this time with RTFM

I did follow the Installation documentation.
Yes I did set the IP of the Home Assistant below the Inform Host Override and have checked the checkbox.
I have applied the changes and I have restarted the AddOn, the Home Assistant and I have reset the USW several times.

I try to adopt a USW Flex 2.5G 5

Home Assistant Version Information:

I'm stuck on the Adopting/Offline loop.
Since the USW doesn't have SSH, I can't do much.

Does anybody have ideas left?

I had same problem. Fixed it.
Also have same device, USW Flex 2.5G 5
Would recommend:

• Uninstalling the addon completely
• Restart the PI
• Reinstall the Addon
• Change the "Inform Host Override" (under UniFi Devices (left hand sidebar) -> Device Updates and Settings (left hand sidebar) -> Check the "Inform Host Override" -> Change to the PI's IP (i.e. 192.168.10.5) )
• Try to adopt the Switch again.

Using a Pi 5 with:
Core 2025.10.2
Supervisor 2025.10.0
Operating System 16.2
Add-on 4.2.0

Connection diagram (used when adopting):

Router (non Ubiquiti)--> RPI5 (Home assistant)
 |
\/
Switch (USW Flex 2.5G 5)

But also worked when I changed connections(after adoption):

Router (non Ubiquiti)
 |
\/
Switch (USW Flex 2.5G 5)
 |
\/
RPI5 (Home assistant)

I do not know how i can better help here.

I have the first setup.
Both are connected to the router.

Just wanted to update with newest information from my side.
Connected my second USW Flex 2.5G 5 today, current setup:

Router (non Ubiquiti)--> RPI5 (Home assistant)
 |
\/
Switch (USW Flex 2.5G 5)
 |
\/
Switch (USW Flex 2.5G 5)

No problems with setup, at all.

Would recommend a complete new install (maybe even with a RPI5).
