Pre-release branch for Heat 1.6.1.
Any release work should be done on this branch, and then merged into and , following git-flow guidelines.

TODO:

  • Update version.py
  • Ensure Citation file is up to date.
  • Ensure the Changelog is up to date.

DO NOT DELETE BRANCH AFTER MERGING!

Other small QoL changes:

  • Added labels to exempt issues and PRs from the stalebot.
    • epic, discussion, good first issue, RFC, student project
  • Correct CB dashboard URL in README.
  • Brought pre-commit and workflow files to the latest version.
  • talisman configuration file.
  • Tutorial notebook formatting corrections.
