Currently, all the proposed methods to insert emojis in LaTeX either include setting an emoji font as a main font (which is undesirable), or insert a \fontspec within every context that has emojis. E.g:
{\DejaSans ☺😐☹😁😂😃😇😉😈😋😍😱} and even cats: {\DejaSans 😺}!It would much neater to have an option that specifies which font to use for emojis, just like Script= option. E.g:
\fontspec{NotoColorEmoji}[
Script=Emoji
