App must use Google Play Billing Library version 7.0.0 or later

Hi, i am having an issue of publishing a new version in the Google Play Store.

This is the reason of the issue:

To provide users with a safe and secure experience, all apps are required to meet Google Play Billing Library requirements.
Your app uses an old version of Google Play Billing Library. From Aug 30, 2025, all apps must use version 7.0.0 or later.

Update to a newer version by this date to prevent your updates from being rejected.

I wanted to know if there is a plan to upgrade this lib to use the newer version of Google Play Billing Library.

Checkout gdx-pay PR, run ./gradlew publishToMavenLocal, update the gdx-pay version in your gradle project to SNAPSHOT, add mavenLocal() to your repositories.

I want to test it in a few days with my own (subscription) app.

i could do a time and the test was successfuly. I only test Android project, is it correct right?

Yup. That's the way to test it. Did you update your gdx-pay version to 1.3.9-SNAPSHOT for the test?

Yes, i change the gdx-pay lib to that version using mavenLocal() (first time doing that, but worked perfect!)

I can test it in my iOS App, but not subscription flow. Are the same steps that i do for Android test right? I mean the mavenLocal(), checkout, etc. steps?

Yes, the same steps.

In iOS, the changes are much bigger then on Android. Please test error handling. E.g cancel purchase, when device is offline and makes a purchase that kind of things, as much of the callback logic has changed

I do some iOS test, but i have an issue that my purchase start to queue in the purchase ios client process. Do i have to do something more after i get a success in the purchase to consume it in client? This is the comment i refer to.

I've just tested that single transactions still work on iOS, which makes sense. We didn't touch anything on that side.
