Feature Request: Add a member dimension when adding transaction records

I tried ezbookkeeping, and it's very excellent, able to replace 80% of the online software I use now. That's very cool!
However, I still hope that a new dimension can be added to the transaction records: family member.

Specifically, it's similar to categories, allowing users to customize family members: myself/wife/child1/child2, etc.
When recording transaction records, it should be possible to choose who paid for this transaction or for whom it was paid.
For example: Record a transaction for purchasing milk powder for child 1. In future statistics, it will be possible to count the expenditure by member dimensions.

Like expenditure, income can also be specified for family members. For example, this money is my own salary, and the other money is my wife's salary.

I know, adding a new dimension may be difficult, but I still hope to complete this feature ~ Thank you!

The transaction tag in ezBookkeeping is defined as one or more types of a transaction, which can be merchant, project, payee, payer, etc.

There may be multiple tags in each transaction (including the member you mentioned), so it is meaningless to show the classification or trend statistic charts of different tags.
If you have any suggestions for good chart presentation, welcome to provide relevant text or picture descriptions.

Some features like shared ledger?

In this way, I can set one shared ledger with family members, and each person can make their own records. Each individual has their own cost record, and whole family summary is also available in the shared ledger.

Your issue doesn’t seem to be the same as what’s being discussed here, and it looks like it may be in #53.

尝试使用了一段时间, 但是确实使用Tag没法 完全替代 成员这个维度.

我再说说我的理解, 无论是在支出还是在收入上,增加成员这个维度,在进行统计分析的时候都能带来更细化的结果.
这个特别是在多人共同记账的情况下,更是如此.

@sunxiang0918 These are actually two separate issues. In ezBookkeeping, a tag refers to something that one transaction can has zero or more. So ezBookkeeping won't support other tag-like features. What you're referring to is a chart display issue — tags can also be used to support more types of chart visualizations.

In the future, additional analysis dimensions or new statistics & anaylysis tool may be added, but direct tag-based analysis (like the category-based or account-based analysis mentioned earlier) is unlikely to be supported. Because, in ezBookkeeping's design, tags are defined as zero-to-many attributes per transaction, so analyzing them in the same way as categories or accounts wouldn't be statistically meaningful.
However, if you have good ideas on how this could be done, feel free to share them.

谢谢你的回复～ 我也知道按照TAG作为维度进行统计 不太合适～ 所以最开始 提出的方案就是增加 人员 这个字段维度～😀
