Description
I was working with BM on 27.06.25 around 3.30 pm I asked B. if he would like a donut and B. said "yes" ,so offered him a whole donut, thinking that the donut was soft enough to be ated by B. ,after a few seconds B. start chocking ,I gived 5 back blows, B. was not responding, gived B. 5 abdominal thrusts. I phoned 999 and ask for Ambulance .B. was sitting in a couch, his lips turned purple. I was instructed by phone to move B. into a horizontal, resting position, which I did. After a few seconds B. start to breath normaly. First ambulance came after about 2...3 minutes from calling 999.
The ambulance staff was examining B. and offered him an oxigen mask . After a few minutes the 2 nd ambulance came.
They decided that the best option for B. will be to go to the Hospital . B. Refused a few times to go there. We all encourage B. that he needs to go and B. accepted. Then I called on call Joan L. answered and let her know the situation with B. and that he need to go to the hospital. At the hospital doctors said that B. looks to have a chest infection ,so they give him antibiotics. B. was coghing quiet bad in the last 3 weeks. I mentioned that in the comments notes ,also phoned Gp and pharmacist .They said that we need to buy coghing syrope and start to administret , which I did. B. Remained in the hospital over night ,my shift was finished at 23.18 .
