Hello, I'm new to git and this is the first thing I'm installing so I barely know what I'm doing. I've successfully installed freyr and can run the --help command to see the output. But when trying to get an album download its saying

Unable to find an executable named AtomicParsley or atomicparsley. Please install.

So I've got the AtomicParsley exe from /wez/atomicparsley but not sure how to make freyr see it.

Sure thing

1. I installed Node from its git page then tried to install freyr from node.js/exe and it didnt work
2. Ran powershell and then tried installing freyr using npm install -g freyr and it seemed to have worked, so I tried running the freyr --help command to confirm and it gave me an error saying scripts are not allowed to run on this computer.
3. So I went to the npm roaming folder and tried to run freyr.cmd and freyr.ps1 from there which showed me the the logo for a moment, figured it needs to run in command prompt so open up cmd and ran the same freyr --help and it showed the output. Nice.
4. Now time to actually get some music, tried the example command shown here freyr https://music.apple.com/us/album/im-sorry-im-not-sorry-ep/1491795443 and the output was

Checking directory permissions...[done]
Unable to find an executable named AtomicParsley or atomicparsley. Please install.

A couple of things here;

1. The npm package needs to be updated, so you'll encounter authentication issues like Downloading from apple music fails #501 from your current installation.
2. If you're installing freyr with npm, you have to put the AtomicParsley binary somewhere stated in your PATH environment variable.

If you don't want to or can't figure out how to put AtomicParsley in your PATH, then freyr provides some alternatives:

The best path would be to clone freyr manually:

Lets remove the current installation first:

npm rm -g freyr

git clone https://github.com/miraclx/freyr-js
cd freyr-js

Create the folder bins/windows inside the freyr-js folder:

mkdir bins/windows

Copy the AtomicParsley.exe binary into the bins/windows folder.

Download the needed dependencies for freyr:

npm install

All done! Now, you can either:

1. Make the freyr command accessible from anywhere.

    npm link

   And run the freyr command.

   freyr ...

2. Or just run it directly from inside the folder

    node cli.js

Alternatively, you can use the --atomic-parsley flag that freyr provides to point directly to the correct binary. So freyr doesn't need to go searching for one.

freyr --atomic-parsley <PATH TO ATOMIC PARSLEY>

Can you explain where I'm supposed to do the git clone https://github.com/miraclx/freyr-js cd freyr-js Sorry, as I said I'm new to this

And I had updated npm to the latest version after installation, forgot to mention that

Inside your terminal, or powershell window. You can clone freyr inside any directory. If you haven't already set up a git workspace, you can create a git folder inside your user directory. And clone freyr inside that directory.

Inside both it tells me

'git' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I need to setup something else for this to work?

Are you sure you've installed git? It doesn't seem to be available globally in your PATH.
