Add a license?

I forked and edited your code, but upon reviewing Github's License Help Page it states that without a specified license, you retain all rights to your work and I am not able to contribute to or edit it in any way. Is there any chance you could specify an open-source-friendly license for the project?

If there are no files in the specified location (masks), the task stucks and vsCode is not able to run any other tasks until reset.
Known issue? How to overcome this?
