In the paper, we had a with Questionable Functionality category that referred to LLM, blockchains, etc. I feel that this is taking a position against those technologies, while they are not intrinsically bad. They are resource-intensive, for sure, but that alone does not make them questionable."
I think the taxonomy should be factual but neutral. For example, this same category could be rephrased as High-footprint functionalities, which could go nicely with a High-footprint manufacturing issue.
