PowerShell completions for --import-db don't seem to work

I would love it if you could allow a space after import-db --file= so my Tab autocomplete can work. :-p

Hi and welcome @trade74 - Autocompletion has always worked there for me. What OS and shell are you using? How do you install DDEV?

Do other general completions work? Like ddev l <tab> gets you "list" and "logs"? Did you follow the instructions in https://ddev.readthedocs.io/en/stable/users/install/shell-completion/#powershell ?

yes they work, it seams to need a space before completions work. so ddev db-import --file .\long.sql.filenamer-03939.sql would work but once the space is gone the tab does nothing

There are two valid formats; I'm not sure about PS but

ddev db-import --file .\lo<tab>

would normallly work, as would

ddev db-import --file=.\lo<tab>

Oh, please say what PowerShell version you're using and verify the situation with the built-in PS.

ddev import-db --file .\storage\shared-sql\website--2025-08-20-052205--v5.8.13.sql.zip Works!

sorry i didnt know that was available. thank you that has saved me 3 seconds each day :-)
