I’d like to propose a highly valuable feature that I’ve seen implemented on another platform (as a premium offering): Partial Submissions. This feature could significantly enhance user experience and data collection efficiency, especially for forms with multiple fields.
Why is this important?
1. Lead Recovery in Sales Funnels
Imagine a scenario where the first field of a form asks for a user’s phone number or email. By capturing this data early, you can initiate lead recovery processes even if the user abandons the form later. This ensures that no potential lead is lost.
2. Reducing Data Loss from Abandoned Forms
A significant number of users abandon forms before completing them. For instance, if a form has 12 questions and a user answers 7, those 7 responses are still valuable. With partial submissions, you can capture this data instead of losing it entirely.
3. Enhanced Integration Capabilities
If webhooks trigger events for each answer (not just upon final submission), it opens up possibilities for more complex integrations. For example, when a user opens a form, a session ID could be generated and sent via webhook, allowing for real-time tracking and advanced abandoned workflows.
If you believe this feature would be valuable for your workflows and integrations, please give this post an up!
