Passepartout Apple ID Issue

We use the Passepartout app for VPN in our company and manage all mobile devices through an MDM solution. Our devices do not have an Apple ID and we are not allowed use it.

Since version 3 of the app, we have been experiencing increased issues, as the app seems to attempt connecting to the cloud to store profiles. We have disabled the “In-App Purchases” option, which has slightly improved the situation. However, a pop-up requesting an Apple ID login now appears every few minutes.

Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

For the record, the tunnel didn't honor the "Skip in-app purchases" flag. This is fixed in this commit.
