PHP 8: Pear current release from 2017 has deprecations

Current Release
1.0.0RC3 (beta) was released on 2017-06-20

There were some php 8 deprecations resolved in version 1.0.0, but pear website only lists 1.0.0RC3

but missing versions 1.0.0RC4..9 and 1.0.0

Ideally wanted to install via pear install OLE or at least pear install -f OLE-v1.0.0

(but as I understand I can install it via composer require pear/ole)
