Plans for supporting Safari?

I daily drive safari at the moment and being a regular user of vimium on the chrome side of things, I really struggle with quick navigations.

There are some ports which are available like Vimari (https://github.com/televator-apps/vimari) but they are not as well maintained and don't inspire the same kind of confidence.

Is there any plans for extending the official support to Safari browser via Mac App Store?
