Description
First of all, thank you for creating this website, it looks great and seems useful.
Unfortunately, licenses are a crucial aspect of software and are making a real world difference. Many companies make the source code available, but tie it to limiting license that restrict the use of the software, for example up to some arbitrary number of users. Often called "source available" programs might be better than fully closed ones, but should not be advertised as Open Source.
I think it could be a good idea to make this site stand out above services like alternativeto.net by tagging software at least as "open source" (the user have same rights as the maker to use the software he/she/they obtain), "source available" (the code is published or available with binaries) and "open core" (based version is open source but proprietary extension is being sold alongside).
Thank you for your understanding, I do not want this issue to be a man yelling at the clouds, but to suggest a feature I would personally use and would really like to see on such lists. Personally I do not have time to do a PR, but as said it is just a suggestion, no demands 😊.
