flickering (decoder issue?) #50
Description
Some connections have a high frequency flickering until reset. I've seen it once, and it is has been reported twice in engdes1 labs. I only saw it when I was deliberately breaking and remaking connections, and it might be an issue with keyframes or how the decoder handles a gap in the stream. Refreshing the user interface solves the issue. This could be a prompt to analyse video quality automatically in the apps, or perhaps trigger a video decoder reset on a new connection.
Related to this are the buffered frames when returning to the page.
