Serial Number in all metrics

I would like to see the serial number of the smart devices included in the metrics collected from the endpoints.

In particular this would be nice because the device could change on a reboot of a system.

I was working a grafana with the devices showing reads/writes over time.

This value as an example does not have a serial number which would allow for more consistency over time.

I do see that and it makes sense.. I'm not seeing that same set of data from my curl... I want in grafana to do a join on the smartctl_device and smartctl_device_bytes_written it looks like the only option is the device and the time. But, I do want to do that disk writes over time and show it going up and up and up :-)

Your metrics haven't provide instance/fqdn/hostname label at all. You should look to the Prometheus configuration, not the exporter

That was my bad.. just showing the CURL not the Prometheus/VM information. In Grafana V11 I'm supposed to be able to do 2 queries and then do a JOIN on multiple fields. I'm looking at that now(if it works).
