0.6.0-beta 1 Question

Stupid question. Can I unzip the source and put one of the folders in the custom component folder or is the only way to test the beta through the cli?

pyalarmdotcomajax is now v0.6.0-beta.1. That's the library that powers the integration and can only be tested via cli.

The actual Alarm.com integration is now in v4.0.0-beta.1 and can be installed via HACS.

To install, in your HA instance, go to HACS -> Alarm.com, click on the 3 dots on the top left, and go to Download.

Click on "Need a different version?" and select the beta version, then install and restart Home Assistant.

Not sure about the best place to report, but for the record I've been on v4.0.0-beta.2 for a couple of hours and as far as I can tell stuff keep working much as before, the primary difference I can see in the logs is that sensors (such as my motion detector and front door) now log "Became unavailable" a while after each expected log entry. Perhaps this is just a side effect of the restructure as it tentatively does not seem harmful. Let me know if I should dig deeper in the logs (they are still on verbose).
Um, come to thing of it, this may be somewhat harmful as there is now a fair amount of "Was closed" entries (about every 5 minutes) in between these "Became unavailabe" messages which MAY be interpreted as a repeated action (and log filler). Hence, the History bar (althought i LOOKS like the door is closed) is actually chopped up inte ~5 minutes of "Closed" durations.
