while using web ui plugins that return links to html pages won't get added to transfers list #385

I'm noticing the plugins like the TorrentProject that return a link to an html page instead of a magnet link result in the torrent not being added to the transfers list after clicking download.

Here is an example workflow of a torrent to be downloaded

I right-click on the item and click download

I'm presented with this dialogue

When I click download on the dialogue above the window disappears at the torrent is not added to the transfers list. When I looked at the execution log I see this:

However plugins like torrents-csv populate a magnet link in the dialogue above and when I click download the torrent is indeed added to the transfers list.

Here are the versions of the plugins installed:

and my client is qBittorrent v5.1.2 WebUI (64-bit)

I notice I don't have this problem on my desktop client, but I'm not sure why.

What could I do to start debugging/fixing this?
