This seems like a great idea.

Can you say a bit on if there is a certain plan? Are you preparing for a remote lecture or is this just a collection of online material?

Hi Max,

Thanks! So the plan is to give a set of remote lectures to newcomers and phd students at our lab (LPC Clermont-Ferrand) starting today.

Eventually we also wanted to extend the repository with more exercises and especially the interplay between python and ROOT.

It's really something fairly spontaneous for now but if time allows we would definitely want to just keep on adding tutorials on specific topics.

Ah, and as a PS, we specifically decided against a fork (even though that would been an even clearer attribution to you), because we had the idea of fundamentally changing the repo's structure going along

If you let me know time and dates, I could do some of the lectures if you want.

So for now it's really an unofficial thing that we also use to get closer as a group, but I'll pop the question and would come back to you if people are interested in learning from the original author :)

No problem. Will also be a good excercise for me, as I probably have to do quite some remote teaching 😉
