How do I view a PopupWindow in the live preview?

I have a PopupWindow exported from a file:

export component LoginPopup inherits PopupWindow { }

Which is used in my app-window.slint:

import { LoginPopup } from "login-popup.slint";

export component AppWindow inherits Window {

    //...

    popup := LoginPopup { }
}

I don't think there is a way I can view the popup in the live preview.

Opening login-popup.slint in the live preview causes an error: "PopupWindow cannot be the top level".

Adding this to the AppWindow crashes the interpreter:

    init => {
        popup.show();
    }

I tend to define a component for the contents of the popup window and preview that.

Thank you. I also realised that what I probably wanted was a Dialog, not a PopupWindow.
