Hi @zhanglepy Thanks for the feedback. You are perfectly right, a significant change in the GUI took place at v25.06). The SOFA GUI is now based on ImGui, an permissive open-source library for creating GUI (permissive, unlike Qt) You are also perfectly right to point out the fact that we should create a video tutorial about this new interface. I will do one early January when the v25.12 will be released (including GUI improvements). If I don't, poke me using @hugtalbot ;) |

Hello SOFA team,
I am currently working with SOFA v25, and I have found that the GUI and overall interface have significantly changed compared with previous versions (e.g., v23, v22). However, I have been unable to find detailed documentation, tutorials, or transition guides explaining these new interface components, workflows, or GUI behaviors.
Because of this, it is difficult for me to get started with the new version, especially when trying to understand:
How the new GUI system is organized
How to properly configure scenes in the new interface
How to use updated features compared with earlier versions
Whether an official migration guide exists for users upgrading from older versions
I would like to ask:
Are there any official tutorials, videos, or documentation resources that specifically introduce the new GUI and interface of SOFA v25?
Any guidance, links, or example projects would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your help and for the continued development of SOFA.
