Vertical grid alignment doesn't work well with sorting

Because there's no vertical alignment of rows of cards, sorting gets very confusing as shown in this screenshot:

What would be better would be to have equi-sized cards in each row.

If this creates too much wasted vertical space we may want to consider putting the list of repositories in each project onto a scrollable region showing, say, up to 2 repositories without scrolling.
