How to get Folder Picker in android?

so, i have read the previous discussion about this topic, but its too hard to follow and implement by my own.
i love tauri's philosophy of not touching rust until its extremely neccasary. using tauri api's which are simple js functions in my js code.

i am looking for a similar solution that follows this philosophy as best as it can

That won't be easy since there's nothing in tauri to help you yet tauri-apps/plugins-workspace#933 - this sadly is also not trivial because android file/folder pickers return content urls and we have no real idea how to handle them with folders yet as you can't turn them into paths easily.

i can't get the tauri fs plugin to read a android dir

const uri = await AndroidFs.showOpenDirPicker();
if (!uri) return;
const path = await AndroidFs.getFsPath(uri);

const entries = await readDir(path);
//  Error: URL is not a valid path

you'll have to use the plugin's AndroidFs.readDir function i guess. tauri's readDir can't handle the android paths yet.
