My query is, Is this package ready for use in production or is it still in the beta/prototype stage?

Also, if it's not ready, what is the planned timeline for it?

I had some hands-on experience with this library in the past (like a few months ago), and this question has come up earlier. This library has been, and probably still is being used in prod. I've spent some time digging the codebase, and I'd say it's pretty solid and well-made.

We are using this in production for a long time, and the core interface hasn't changed for like 3 years. It is ready.

Under "about" on main page on this github repo it says:

gocraft/work v2 prototype

That might be where the confusion is coming from. Maybe it's worth updating that.
