Python process exited with code 2

I'm getting this after installing the package. It's not showing any result.
I'm using pnpm@9, node@20.11.1

Ran into the same issue. Are you trying to use it from a NextJS app?

1. Add this to your next.config.ts file:

const nextConfig: NextConfig = {
  serverExternalPackages: ["node-easyocr"],
};

This should fix exit code 2.

If you still run into an issue, like I did with exit code 1, that could mean some python dependencies are not installed that easyocr uses. the node-easyocr is just a wrapper that spawns a python child process in which easyocr actually runs, and communicates it with pipes.
