[FEATURE] Minimal host image generation for fast full system testing and CI #6
Description
Create scripts to build a small Linux VM for fast host+adsp testing with two QEMU instances. We already have CI tests that exercise the ADSP QEMU in an automated fashion, but host side testing is currently manually and developers are using custom host images.
Features:
- Small footprint
- libc + busybox+ ALSA (lib and tools) + SOF FW + SOF topology
- fast procedure to update SOF components and boot
Possible implementation ideas:
- from @lgirdwood: use Yocto tools to create the image, SOF components passed via cmdline
