Hug is now abandonware. Consider moving away from using it

Currently hug is a dependency. Unfortunately, it is an abandoned project. This means, for example, that it is not possible to build portray conda packages for new Python versions. Are there any plans to move off using hug?

@iamthebot any package related with @timothycrosley should be considered abadonware. unfortunately @timothycrosley is nowhere to be found and all related projects are dead. for streamdeck-linux-gui we've ditched any dependencies on these packages.

this being said this project is itself abandoned, last commit to it was 2 years ago by the author itself.

dunno if it does the same or not .. but for most my projects that require a documentation website I use mkdocs

FYI a fork of hug is now (somewhat) maintained at https://github.com/comaintain/hug but would require forking this project to switch out the dependency.
