Does Serial Only for android projects

I wanna to use this serializer in my middleware project by java, but after read over a set of related documents， I‘m not sure whether it fits in non-android project.

Hey! Yeah, Serial is not tied to Android at all - we just happen to use it in an Android application. Try it out and let us know if it works for your needs! :)
