I could see Google coming up with a reason why uBOL is breaking their TOS and delists it.

I finally got a warning from Youtube today that said they'll disable my video player if I don't turn off my ad blocker (three final chances or something), so I grabbed the version here on Github and unpacked it to use.

for doing so google is making ubol harder to install by forcing users to go to this repo's github page and grab installation folder. this creates a difficult barrier for new users who want to have a seamless integration with this extension.
