RSS Feed failure requires server restart to recover

Describe the bug
An RSS Feed issue while running caused the RSS Feed to become unavailable. The only way to recover was to restart the server.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Unable to reproduce at this point. Server has been restarted.

Expected behavior
In the event that the RSS Feed has a failure, the RSS Feed should be able to recover automatically. In the event of an external system issue, the external system recovery should not require a server reset. In the event of an internal error, enough information should be logged to support troubleshooting and code modification.
