splash screen

HI iam trying to design the new tool in the windows and wasm , first iam trying to design the windows application which is in exe, iam trying to display the splash screen i have the image , as i have followed the steps to add the splash screen image in the "Asset\Splash" folder and link that in to the "Package.appxmanifest->visual assets->splash screen" then i have rebuild the app;ication and clicked the exe , the splash screen is not coming

can some one please help me to get the splash screen , even i have tried the sample in the GIT that was not displaying the splash screen
