IconLayer.getColor

Hello everyone
When using IconLayer, I'm trying to recolor a white square with a black border and a number inside in red using the getColor method, but the square remains white. If I set mask to true in iconMapping, then the entire shape is repainted.

What could be the problem?

Oh, I got so confused in the browser tabs with the documentation that I got the repositories mixed up. :)

I had done this before, but when I realized that texture atlases were already approaching 2k resolution due to the number of types of markers and their color variations, I decided to resort to the preliminary creation of one atlas with only different types of markers. Apparently I'll have to make my own atlas for each marker.
