Footer Component Missing

Why wasp initial template of todo-app doesn't have any simple footer component for users to display info

I assume you're referring to the basic (default) template?
basic is meant to be a good starting position to do anything i.e. either back office app or something else.
Because not all apps with have footers, we don't really want to have one in the default template.
But it's something simple enough that anyone can add it themselves.

We have another template which is more suited for business purposes: saas.
You could try it out instead: wasp new -t saas open-saas-app.
