Permalink does not reliably save the zoom state

Describe the bug
When sharing a permalink to a current state of xcube viewer, it does not reliably also save the state of the zoom level. This happens randomly, sometimes the zoom extent is saved sometimes not.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to https://viewer.earthsystemdatalab.net/
2. Select SeasFire Cube, a valiable and zoom
3. Create permalink and open in a new tab
4. See that the zoom level is not persisted.

Expected behavior
I would expect the permalink to contain reliably also the zoom extent of the current state.
