Default gateway and ip address

I have machine A with address x.x.x.x and machine B with y.y.y.y , And I created a tunnel via ssh from A to B. A is my client and B is a ssh server.
I read your manual, And question: is my gateway y.y.y.y? and can I use ssh server beside tun2socks? If I use tun2socks, Do I need ssh tunnel?

I'm confused for IP addressing of manual, You put 198.18.0.1 in manual. Can please guide me to addresing? My machine A is 192.168.1.106 and my server is 192.168.1.1
