Support matching the main part of an anime title (before the colon) #754
Description
As mentioned in #751 (comment), it is frequently the case that a simplified name like "Mushoku Tensei" is used in the file name or media title and trackma (when using Anilist) cannot recognize that because it is only a part of the full name "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" or "Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu" and these are too different. The current workaround is to set an appropriate alternative name.
There are several more examples like this from the current or recent seasons (I just selected a few at random):
- Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells
- From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!
- Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!
- Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (doubt anyone would actually just call that "Orb" or "Chi" though)
- Bogus Skill <<Fruitmaster>> ~About that time I became able to eat unlimited numbers of Skill Fruits (that kill you)~ (or rather
Hazure Skill "Kinomi Master": Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) wo Mugen ni Taberareru You ni Natta Ken Nitsuite
However, we also need to be careful about situations like:
- Sengoku Youko: The Thousandfold Chaos Arc – not to be confused with Sengoku Youko
- JoJo: Ougon no Kaze – not to be confused with JoJo: Stardust Crusaders (and others)
- Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage – not to be confused with Ranking of Kings
Depending on the implementation, we may get away with some weights on the main titles, but it's not a clear-cut decision we can just do as false-positives are likely.
