I’ve bee testing agents workflow myself and I found quite a few rough edges.
First, the agent gets stuck halfway through the task. Asking it why you stopped - get a I’m working on it reply. But all the indicators showing the task as complete. But it isn’t.
GitHub is not recognising Cursor bot in my repo, so when I type @ - I don’t get a suggestion to tag cursor bot in my feedback. Without a tag - cursor is not reacting to comments. So each comment needs a tag even though it’s a comment on a PR opened by cursor.
It seems like you can’t start a review, got through changes, make a bunch of comments and post them all at once using submit review button. Cursor gets overwhelmed with 15 comments and change request all flying in at same time and does combine it all in a one long todo list, instead attempts to start on all of them at once, gets confused, pick one at random and attempts to work just on that and then gets stuck like I described above.
Oh, when it gets stuck or even when finished initial task - didn’t open PR automatically and no notifications given. Had to remember to manually check in on a progress just to see the indicator telling me the task was completed.

Seems like they undercooked a little.

Will be testing GitHub copilot agent next. Hopefully the notifications and feedback integration is much better there
