OpenTofu Extension

Since the Team behind OpenTofu works hard on their own languague server called tofu-ls, is there any plan to provide an official Zed Extension for Tofu or can some else provide one?

I ask because I see that Terraform has gotton an official Zed Extension see.

I've adapted the official Terraform extension to work with tofu-ls. For now you can get the source here: https://github.com/ashpool37/zed-extension-opentofu , and I might soon file a PR to get it published if folks don't run into any issues.

Did you adjusted the treesitter grammar?

@tzabbi no, I didn't, I simply renamed a few things and made it download tofu-ls instead of terraform-ls. If you can share the list of differences between OpenTofu and Terraform grammars then I'll make the necessary adjustments.

As far as I understand, the official OpenTofu VS Code extension uses the HCL and Terraform syntaxes unchanged at this time. I'll be keeping an eye on that repository and update the grammar used by the Zed extension if it ever diverges.

I thought something like encryption block for statefile was different in tofu-ls and terraform-ls but as mentioned by the tofu-la maintainer it is fine for now :)
