I've hit a similar issue, on Windows 11 with an RTX 4080 and a i7 13700k. Interestingly, I have my work lap-top, software wise fairly similar setup but obviously very different (weaker) hardware, and there's zero issue. So there's a conflict somewhere, but I can't figure out what does it. Lap-top, terminal is super responsive, everything works perfectly. Desktop, I can have 5-10 seconds sometimes between key strokes. Same shell setup, same dotfiles (WSL), etc. Happens both in WSL and Powershell on the slow machine. |

Summary
Overall, the terminal in Zed feels very slow and laggy, especially while typing.
Description
I'm currently using
pswh.exewith a very custom profile but the same behavior can be seen withpowershelland Gitbash.Steps to trigger the problem:
Expected Behavior:
There should not be lag - behavior should be similar to system terminal emulators (WezTerm, Alacritty, Windows Terminal and so on).
Actual Behavior:
The terminal is quite slow. Below is a demonstration of me typing many characters very quickly and then waiting for the text to show up.
