Hi,

I've been using this branch for a few weeks, and just ran into an error where sortOptions in the update_sort_options! routine in table.rb was getting passed a properly-formatted sortOptions array, but raising an error anyhow. This code fixed it for me:

... but I'm pretty sure it's a hack.
