v1.3.3 - Auto-update and better task navigation

👀 Overview

We've been waiting to release this new version for a long time now! This version is not fully complete but rather is complete until further notice. In other words, if we find some bugs, we will update this release with new installs and source code. I do want to point out that this release info does not show the changes and will not until we have more time to do so.

We'll have a new section in our future release descriptions, Discover, that will cover some of the important changes in new versions as well as mention some of the features from previous versions you might not know about.

🌐 Discover:

• Noted has an all-new lighter and cleaner looking colorways.
• There is now better interaction between tasks.
• Noted is open-source so that you can change things you don't like, rebuild it, and use it your way!

📂 Installers:

We are aware that the Linux installers are not available in this version yet, and we will add them when we complete some of our to-dos.

🔥 Powers:

• Remapped color system (lighter and cleaner looking colors.)
• You can now use the left and right arrows to switch between tasks.
• Increased bottom margin for contents page.
• You can now view the full changelog even on small windows.
• Redesigned backspace and delete functionality.
• Reduced redundancies in code.
• Text Outline is now More Line Space and the box outline has been removed.
• Adjusted the thickness of the header.
• When changelog text wraps, it no longer wraps under the plus sign but to the right of it, like a bullet list.
• Text no longer waits until it reaches the very edge of the window to wrap, it now wraps slightly before.
• Code is now structured into multiple files (.tsx) for better readability.
• Resizer is now activated with a single-click (used to be double.)
• Animation speed is now synced between the different components of the header.
• Setting sound type to custom no longer adds padding to the below it.
• Minimum window size is even smaller.
• Now prevents highlighting of close button.
• Added auto-updating to settings section. (🪟 Windows Only)
• Header elements now shrink on hover.
• The version/update section of the settings page now has a light gray border.

📌 To-Do:

• Fix glitch type distortion in check sound. (🟢 Easy)
• Reduce box shadow of version/update section of settings. (🟢 Easy)
• Add/improve hover effect of version/update section of settings. (🟢 Easy)
• Add more commentary in code for contributors to understand content. (🟡 Medium)

v1.3.3a (Beta) - Revised

👀 Overview

This update is an addition to the original v1.3.3 beta. We will not include updates from the previous beta version in this changelog.

🔥 Powers:

• Stopped selection of close button.
• Changelog has better formatting.
• Changelog word-wrap does not wrap around plus sign.
• Version number in settings menu has outline and greater shadow.
• Word wrapping in settings and contents are not able to reach the very edge of the screen.
• Fixed backspace first item of tasks.
• Restructured App.tsx into multiple .tsx files.

📌 To-Do:

• Sound set to custom unintentionally adds padding below setting.
• Possibility of the removal of day text thicker on hover.
• Version outline could be removed.

v1.3.3 (Beta) - Major patch & enhanced task system.

👀 Overview

This new version integrates many patches and features. Some are ideas that could be scrapped, others are in progress but aren't gonna be scrapped.

Note: This version completely changes the color scheme.

📂 Installers

First version to include Linux installers! (.deb, .AppImage, .snap). (Boot on Startup and App Icon do not work in Linux.)

🔥 Power-Ups:

• More space between sound setting and inputs next to it.
• More bottom padding to contents.
• Resizer is now single-click activation.
• Smaller minimum width and height.
• Fixed header color not transitioning correctly.
• Day text thicker on hover. (Could be scrapped)
• Left and right arrow navigation of tasks.
• New colors. (Experimental)
• Changed text outline setting to more line space and removed outline.
• New task system for deleting and backspacing.
• Reduced redundancies in code. (Internal)
• Increased padding so smaller windows can view full changelog.

v1.3.2 - Hotfix

This new hotfix releases two minor fixes.
