Your ICI3D bio is populated from the content in the _data/team/surname.yml file on this repo.

You can update your ICI3D bio at any time by creating a pull request with the new content.

Please make sure that, at a minimum, the following YAML tags are defined in your bio file:

  • name - formatted as "Firstname Surname, highest degree"
  • type - a generic descriptor of the type of bio being provided (can be any of the following: director/core/workshop/observer/mentor/former/founding/inactive; lowercase)
  • role - a description of your role within ICI3D; for most people this will be something like "Faculty Member, MMED clinic" or "MMED Mentor"
  • position - your position title at your home institution; Title Case
  • affiliation - your home institution; Title Case
  • img - the location of the image file to display next to your name, relative to assets/img; default for those who do not yet have a profile picture is transmission.png
    • profile pictures can be added as assets/img/team/surname.png or assets/img/team/surname.jpg
    • pictures should be square images and closely cropped around your face (preferably with a neutral background)
  • bio - a short overview of your current situation and career trajectory

Faculty and mentors are also encouraged to include additional information, such as degree info and selected publications. These are defined as nested lists, and you can include as many of each as you like. See below example for formatting.
