Hi, Rachit this side 👋

I'm currently learning Python and Git, and I'm starting to move into open-source development.
Right now my main focus is understanding scientific Python tools and contributing to projects in the HEP/HSF ecosystem.

What I'm working on

  • Getting comfortable with Git and GitHub
  • Building small Python projects to improve my fundamentals
  • Preparing my first contribution to the Scikit-HEP project (uproot/awkward/etc.)

Goals for the next months

  • Make regular contributions to open-source projects
  • Learn the workflow used by real scientific software teams
  • Improve my understanding of data analysis and ML
