Releases: YWMKerman/AfterSolarSystem
The After Solar System Mod 24.4.3
What's changed?
- Fixed an issue with flickering on Mars and Ganymede's oceans.
- Fixed an issue with excessive surface rock features on Titan after installing Parallax Continued.
Additional reminders
As of now, I have taken over the "AfterSolarSystemExpand" project from 2023. I have added at least eight real star systems to the original two fictional star systems created by my friend Linfox, including some of the most popular ones such as Trappist-1, and Proxima etc... If you are interested, you can click the link to download it.
Finally, I wish you a happy life. :)
The After Solar System Mod 24.4.2
What's Changed?
- Fixed an issue where Vesta's textures would display incorrectly without ParallaxContinued installed.
- The textures of Eris and Dysnomia have been updated to make them higher resolution.
- Added new changes: Miranda's orbital inclination increases in the future
The After Solar System Mod 24.4.1
What's changed?
-
As of now, all celestial bodies have been adapted to the "ParallaxContinued" .
-
Mimas, Enceladus, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, and Iapetus, as well as Europa, have been reset, giving them a new look, Because their ice layers sublime under the influence of the sun.
-
The "TheMuna = ?" entry in "Settings.cfg" now allows you to enable a hypothetical captured object, the Muna (the super-Earth from earlier versions of AfterSolarSystem, which has returned and can be enabled or disabled, but is disabled by default).
-
Fixed an issue with incorrect texture paths for the Ganymede biome.
-
In terms of fun, you can now find the skeletons of deep-sea Fish on the surface of Enceladus, or the remains of alien cities and crashed spacecraft on Titan.
The After Solar System Mod 24.4.0
What's Changed?
- Upgraded textures for some celestial bodies to support 16-bit heightmaps, maximizing quality, but this also increases file size.(thank @CharonSSS )
- Adapted to the next generation of Parallax, "Parallax Continued."
- Fixed an issue with celestial bodies such as Deimos, Io, and Titan where excessive scattering objects, such as rocks and vegetation, could cause lag.
Please note that you must download the following three files:"AfterSolarSystem," "ASS-Textures.zip.002," and "ASS-Textures.zip.001" before running this app. All three are essential.
The After Solar System Mod 24.3.8
What has changed?
- Reduced the atmosphere of Ganymede, Callisto, and Titan. (Because the atmosphere is too high, it will take too long to wait for the fall into the atmosphere)
- Added higher resolution textures for Ganymede and Callisto. Also replaced the higher definition Ganymede cloud texture.
The After Solar System Mod 24.3.7
What's Changed?
-
Fixed an issue with stepped textures in some areas of the Earth.
-
Adapted to Parallax 2.0 .
-
Added geopotential rows for Venus and Moon under "Principia".
-
Reduce the brightness of Ganymede's Auroras.
-
Improved crystal effects on the surface of Enceladus.
-
Corrected pressure and temperature curves for Gas Planet. At the same time, the color intensity of the atmosphere of was weakened.
-
Added a custom settings feature, you can turn it on or off in
Settings.cfgin GameData/AfterSolarSystem/, change some settings. (Now, the ability to enter Ice Giant is turned off by default, you can turn it on inSettings.cfg.) -
We now allow you to change the location of your space center at the start of the game, and you can choose Mars, Callisto, or Titan.
The AfterSolarSystem Mod 24.3.6
What's Changed?
- Corrected the colors of Jupiter and Saturn to be close to white according to Sudarsky's gas giant classification, and reconstructed their global temperatures. At the same time, according to the Kelvin–Helmholtz mechanism, the radius of Jupiter and Saturn decreases and the rotation speed increases. And the oblateness of Jupiter and Saturn was reconstructed.
- Based on more references, the orbital eccentricities of Mercury and Mars have been corrected; the orbits of the four Galilean satellites around Jupiter have also been corrected; At the same time, the orbit of Saturn's satellite Titan was corrected.
- Corrected the problem of Ceres' radius mass decreasing, rotation speeding up, and flattening increasing due to the evaporation of all its ice layers.
The After Solar System Mod 24.3.5
What's Changed?
- Added own normal textures for all gas planets.
- Corrected colors of most Planets and Moon to make them look more realistic.
- Corrected the atmospheric heights of most rocky Planet, Moon to make them more consistent with what they would actually be like.
- Replaced better chromosphere texture and flare texture for Sun.
- Added more biomes for Europa.
The After Solar System Mod 24.3.4
What's changed?
- Fixed the seam problem of the earth texture.
- Corrected a series of situations that seriously violated scientific common sense
The After Solar System Mod 24.3.3
What has Changed?
- As much as possible, all the scientifically unreasonable situations have been fixed (including Jupiter's moon water not being at the liquid phase point; Eris's liquid nitrogen lake area is too large and the air pressure is incorrect; Enceladus, Rhea, and Venus have atmospheric problems,etc...)
- Adjusted the colors of Pluto's equatorial regions.
- The ring colors of all gas planets have been toned down to match reality.
- Reduced the water area of Titan and Callisto.
- Remodeled the crystals on the surface of Enceladus.
- Reduced the amount of mushrooms on Titan's Surface.
