I AM CURRENTLY THE TARGET OF A COORDINATED IDENTITY SPOOFING ATTACK.
If you are here because you received a job offer, Upwork invitation, or code assessment and the Commits look like they are from me regarding a "Johnson Group, Cognizant Beta" or similar entities:
- IT IS A SCAM. I am not hiring for these roles.
- THE COMMITS ARE FALSIFIED. Git allows users to spoof email addresses. The attackers are using my public email to make commits appear as if they were authored by me.
- DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE CODE. The repositories likely contain malware or are part of a phishing campaign.
I have enabled GPG Vigilant Mode.
- β REAL: If a commit is actually from me, it will have a green [Verified] badge next to it on GitHub.
- β FAKE: If a commit has my face/name but is marked [Unverified] or has no badge, IT IS NOT ME.
If you have been contacted: Report the user on Upwork/LinkedIn immediately. Do not engage.
