Crafty Tags Outlined Regular is a special-purpose font that makes it easy to create tag-style labels in any software that supports fonts — no CSS required.
- Wrap your text in parentheses
( )to create the left and right tag ends. - The font automatically draws top and bottom bars to give your text the classic “tag / badge / pill” appearance.
- Use
,(comma) or;(semicolon) between tags to add extra spacing without drawing the bars. - Works in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages, Keynote, and more — anywhere you can choose a font.

- Simple tags/pills effect using only keystrokes.

- Download the latest release (
.ttfor.otf) from the Releases page. - Unzip file.
- Double-click the file and click Install Font in Font Book.
- Restart any open apps to refresh their font list.
- Download the
.ttfor.otffile. - Right-click the file and choose Install (or Install for all users).
- Restart apps if they were open during install.
- Use
( … )around words to create tag capsules. - Combine multiple tags:
(Hello)(World)(2025)
- Use
;to insert spacing without lines. - Supports digits, punctuation, and basic symbols.
- For advanced styling (size, weight, color), use your application’s text controls as with any font.
Crafty Tags Font is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

This repository currently distributes the font binaries only.
