👋 Hey There

I am David Slakter, a senior developer interested in building with emerging technologies.

Here are some of the things I've worked on:

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on the AdTech engineering team @ Walmart (Walmart Connect), working on AI agents.
  • 💡 I'm interested In AI, VR, Robotics And Web3 projects
  • 📽️🎬 I pioneered the Video Framework at Walmart to show high-performance videos throughout the Walmart app and Sam's Club.
  • 🧑🏻‍💻 I wrote xIris in college to monitor security cameras and alert businesses of crimes by notifying the police 🚓.
  • 🎓🗽 Graduated from NYU with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Business Studies.

Projects

  • HonorDAO (2024) - A Hackathon project for EthGlobal which tracks 'Honor' using ERC20 tokens on the blockchain
  • Usopp (2024) - A hackathon project that uses federated learning to gather data to train a decentralized model on the blockchain.
  • Lumenar (2024) - An AI tool that lets you request information using a screenshot or copied text and provides a pop-up text box, similar to OpenAI's desktop app.
  • Swap (2017) - An iOS app that allows you to share all your social media profiles with a single QR code.
