The Quack converter can be used in multiple conversions modes:
- ADB to Quadrature
- Bluetooth to Quadrature
- ADB to Bluetooth LE (experimental, currently only working in Windows 10 up to firmware v 1.4.4)
There is a set of user friendly DIP switches on the board which will allow you to choose the correct mode.
- DIP1 is "ADB Host"
- DIP2 is "Bluetooth Disable"
- DIP3 is "Flash"
| DIP1 | DIP2 | DIP3 | Mode |
|---|---|---|---|
| OFF | OFF | OFF | Bluetooth to Quadrature |
| ON | OFF | OFF | ADB to Bluetooth |
| ON | ON | OFF | ADB to Quadrature |
| * | * | ON | Flash mode |
- in all modes, the quadrature output is working
- the ADB port is providing power in Bluetooth to Quadrature mode, but the input is ignored
